Rainbow Pavillion
Client: North Lanarkshire Council
Contract: Commercial
Contract Value: £64k
The ‘Rainbow Pavilion’ was commissioned by North Lanarkshire Council to encourage and facilitate outdoor learning and events within Strathclyde Country Park. A bespoke shelter designed by O’Donnell Brown Architect and artist Kate V Robertson. The minimalist timber structure has been constructed using recycled and environmentally sustainable materials.
Three young people from the local area assisted us with the construction of the pavilion via an employment programme, Barnardo’s Works, to obtain skills, knowledge and experience of joinery work.
